I don’t even know where to begin with Aldrich. This was a “haha what if I made this in 3 weeks” idea that somehow grew legs and arms and suplexed me in the summer of 2022. I was streaming on Twitch, working on a completely different cosplay to enter into the TwitchCon cosplay contest, when I was struck aforementioned idea. I made Aldrich in 3 weeks and was accepted into the contest where I flew over to San Diego and competed. Making this giant cosplay able to fit into a single suitcase (sans the helmet) is still my proudest accomplishment, I won’t lie.
I was never really happy with Aldrich – I desperately need to remake the helmet, add the spear, and generally grossify this cosplay, but it’s not high on my list for now.
